A hero as lover, that is the type of hero I would be portrayed as very well. Family, friends, religion, and hobbies are all the things I love that motivate me to achieve my greatest goals to the best of my abilities. My family and friends both support me academically and athletically. My religion helps me be just overall a better person, helping on my journey through life. Lastly, the love of my hobby, baseball, helps me maintain a steady track to my goals of going far in baseball as well as academics with family and friends just as Odysseus did. He wanted to go home so bad, he could almost feel the texture of his homeland through his journey, and the thought of his friends and family kept him very well motivated.

My personal quest begins right now. Getting my grades and paying attention in school is key to being who I want to be. I want to grow up and be an airline pilot. The Air force Academy is one school that produces pilot which is a very pretty prestigious school and difficulty to get accepted. Therefore, I must take school seriously so I can pursue my dreams through this quest.

So far, the one mentor that stands our to me is my ouldest sister, Allie Miskel. She is 22 years old, she just graduated college, and she is interning at a very successful interior design firm in Little Rock, Arkansas. Even though her graduating is still pretty impresive, that is not what sticks out to me. What does stick out at me though is that Allie started way behind academically, she had dislexia. When she was a fourth grader, she was on a first grade reading level due to her learning disability. Allie could have just easily quit and gave up on school, but she did not. That is why she is my mentor, she taught me no matter what, never give up and try to push through any obstacles in my way.

My threshold Guardian throught my life is my dad. He helps me grow through my number one passion, baseball. After every game we talk about all my mistakes I made that day and figure out how to fix it. Even if i have one of my best games ever, he always figures out something in my game to improve on.

For me, my shadow would have to be my mind. In baseball, you have to go up to the plate with the almost conceided mentality. You have to go up there and say that I'm going to crush this ball into the next hemisphere. The only thing that can keep you from doing that is your mind which is often your one enemy in baseball.

The trickster in my life is my uncle Billy Miskel. It seems like no matter what, he is always there to put some sort of comedy into the situation. It could be a funeral and he will make anyonene laugh appopriately. He is always there for me to make me laugh at any given time. He picks me up and puts me on my feet when I am down and helps me going on through my life.

One of many of my characterisitics that apply to me as the hero is that I meet monsters and monsterous men. This is very true through my quest of progressing in baseball. Recently, I have run into very good baseball players on the opposing teams I face. Facing these giants help me in the long run of becoming a better player and soon I hope to face even better players to make me better.
